  • Phone Numbers: When you use the direct messaging feature, phone numbers you enter are stored locally on your device for your recent history and favorites. These numbers are never transmitted to our servers.
  • Theme Preferences: Your dark mode preference is stored locally on your device.

  • Device Information: We may collect device type, operating system version, and unique device identifiers for analytics and ad personalization.
  • Log Data: In case of errors, we collect diagnostic data including IP address, device name, operating system version, app configuration, time and date of usage, and other statistics.
  • Advertising Data: We use Google AdMob to display advertisements. Google may collect and use data as described in Google's Privacy Policy.

1.3 Information Stored Locally

  • Status History Cache: The app caches status media files (photos and videos) locally on your device for offline viewing. This data remains on your device and is never uploaded to any server. You can clear this cache at any time from the app settings.
  • Recent Numbers & Favorites: Phone numbers you message and mark as favorites are stored locally using device storage. This data is not transmitted externally.

2. Permissions We Request

The app requests the following device permissions:

  • Storage / Media Access: Required to read and save status media files (photos and videos) from your device.
  • Camera: Used exclusively for the QR code scanner feature to scan QR codes containing phone numbers. No photos or videos are captured or stored through this permission.
  • Internet: Required for displaying advertisements and opening external links.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide and maintain the app's core functionality (direct messaging, status downloading)
  • To display relevant advertisements via Google AdMob
  • To improve app performance and fix errors
